En junio de 2024, se hizo p\u00fablico que las autoridades no hab\u00edan hecho mucho por defender al alumnado Awaj\u00fan. M\u00e1s de 100 casos fueron desestimados y los docentes continuaban ense\u00f1ando. Ante el cuestionamiento, el Ministro de Educaci\u00f3n, Morgan Quero, en lugar de asumir responsabilidad por la inacci\u00f3n o condenar a los abusadores, relativiz\u00f3 el tema con una frase prejuiciosa y discriminadora. Adem\u00e1s, del Ministro Quero, la Ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables repiti\u00f3 el argumento de que se trataba de \u201cpr\u00e1cticas culturales\u201d. En Amazonas, hubo abuso sexual contra menores de edad, con graves consecuencias como el contagio de VIH\/SIDA. Solo en 2020, el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n destituy\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 1 mil profesores por este delito. En Amazonas, durante 14 a\u00f1os (2010 \u2013 2014) 524 escolares fueron v\u00edctimas de quienes deb\u00edan educarlas y de autoridades que relativizaron las agresiones, normaliz\u00e1ndolas bajo el r\u00f3tulo de \u201cpr\u00e1cticas culturales\u201d. \u00bfCu\u00e1ntos de esos maestros est\u00e1n en otras escuelas abusando o al acecho de nuevas v\u00edctimas?
